Returns, Exchanges and Refused Parcels

Please read this information before returning an item or refusing delivery. Return handling may depend on the shipping method, parcel status and customs charges.

Please read the import tax and customs information carefully before choosing a shipping method.

This is especially important for courier delivery by UPS or FedEx. If a courier parcel is refused or cannot be cleared through customs, returning it to the sender can be very expensive and complicated. In some cases, the return costs, customs-related charges, courier penalties or disposal fees may be higher than the value of the goods in the parcel.

Before returning an item

If you would like to return or exchange an item, please contact us first. We will provide the correct return address and return instructions.

Important: Please do not send any parcel back without contacting us first. The return address may be different from the sender address shown on the parcel.

Returned items should be in the same condition and packaging in which they were received.

In some cases, by prior agreement, an item may be returned after use. Such cases are reviewed individually.

Returns and exchanges

Exchanges and refunds are reviewed individually, depending on the item, its condition, the reason for return and the shipping method used.

Refunds are usually issued after the returned parcel is received by the maker, unless another agreement has been made.

Note: Any statutory consumer rights that apply in your country remain unaffected.

Damaged or defective items

If the item arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving the parcel.

Please keep the item, packaging and shipping documents, and send clear photos of the problem. This helps us check the issue and decide whether replacement, repair, exchange or refund is the best solution.

If you refuse delivery or cannot receive the parcel

If you refuse to receive the parcel, or if the parcel cannot be delivered for reasons outside our control, part of the payment may not be refundable.

The final refund amount depends on the shipping method, customs charges, return shipping costs and the actual status of the parcel.

Standard postal delivery: Ukrposhta

If the parcel was shipped by the standard postal method through Ukrposhta, in most cases a refund can be issued after the parcel is returned.

However, prepaid import VAT or customs charges that have already been transferred to the customs authorities of your country cannot usually be refunded by Starko Tools.

In most standard postal return cases, the non-refundable part is limited to already-paid import taxes or customs charges.

Courier delivery: UPS / FedEx

If the parcel was shipped by courier service such as UPS or FedEx, import taxes and possible fees are paid by the recipient during customs clearance before delivery.

If the recipient does not pay these charges or refuses the parcel, the courier may return the parcel to the sender or dispose of it, depending on the courier rules and destination country.

In such cases, additional costs may be charged to the sender, including return shipping, customs-related charges, disposal charges and courier penalties. These costs can be higher than the value of the goods in the parcel.

Important: Before choosing UPS or FedEx delivery, please make sure that you understand the possible import taxes, customs fees and courier charges in your country.

If a courier parcel is refused by the recipient, or if customs charges are not paid, returning the parcel can be very expensive and complicated. For such refused courier parcels, a refund may not be possible.
