This tool makes decorative embossing with sharp tops, leaving the edge of the welt intact. You will get a wonderful look, many even well-known and successful shoe makers focus only on the accuracy of the sewing, but finishing each stitch and giving it a such triangular shape distinguishes the master from many similar proposals. The best effect can be obtained using SP-V + SP-A. In addition, for shoes with square and pointed toes, the use of SP-A may be mandatory.

These are recommendations for working with a welt made of soft vegetable-tanned leather. Tools are used heated.

If you have hard leather, you may need to first moisturize your leather, but the humidity should not be high.
