Description
With regular use, sharpening stones begin to show signs of wear and can eventually lose their flat surface. This can negatively affect sharpening precision. The Starko silicon carbide powder is designed to restore the original flatness of your sharpening stones, keeping them in optimal condition for accurate and efficient sharpening.
How to Use:
Place a 5–6 mm thick glass or mirror sheet on a stable surface. Sprinkle a small amount of abrasive powder, add a teaspoon of water, and rub the sharpening stone in a circular motion.
Personally, I use abrasive powder before every sharpening session. It not only levels the surface but also restores the stone's abrasive properties. However, avoid excessive lapping—overuse can lead to faster wear and loss of mass. A light rub with abrasive is enough to clean off debris from the previous sharpening.
